Boycotts were the very foundation of the civil rights movement, yet 2 generations later that fact has nearly been forgotten due to an inadequate educational system and state sponsored misinformation and laziness. No one in my family has been to Target, Home Depot, or Walmart in a year.
I don't even listen to the, "this ain't gonna work," crowd. They are instantstatus.
always falling for the trick bag... target gonna make their money back from all them marks...I respectfully disagree. I’ve mentioned on this board several times that black buying power is 5% of the US GDP. Any meaningful boycott by blacks can have a substantial effect on any companies bottom line in the era of nonsensical tariffs. These recent boycotts were more effective because white people were heavily involved. They have the bulk of the money in this country so when they do something like this these companies will respoond. I'm not against black people engaging is this type of stuff but in most cases you are going to need white people to help in to some degree. I'm not saying this because I believe in white folks or anything it's just a numbers game.
Target is in a death spiral. Making the CEO chairman of the board indicates this company is clueless. The stock price is down 60% yoy and 5% since the announcement. The market wanted an outsider as CEO. Target may be Sears, Gimbles, or Abraham and Strauss status in two years. But the CEO didnt step down he got transferred...![]()

Love to see it!In 1980 Sears had an $18 billion valuation…at least provide some substance to your argument friend instead of smilies.I mean it looks bad but target is STILL a billion dollar corporation no way they go bankrupt off this...![]()
