Ay so I wrote a book. Hopefully its amazing. Best seller. Phone blowing up to do a TedTalk and be on everybody's cousins podcast. Who knows. But If it looks interesting to you please grab one. Paperback drops Feb 1 but ebooks can be preordered now.

Another Edit: The book is a memoir about my experiences being a young Black man in corporate America. Some of yall may be able to relate. Some of you youngn's may be thinking about going into the white collar workplace. Some of you may just want a conversation starter at your job. Either way, its relevant!

I got tired of playing that game trying to find agents and publishers so after about a year of irritation I went the Bezos route and self published. Be wary of the self publishing companies too that want stacks upfront. Gotta be sure your book will move units so you can earn that back. But good luck on it

Why is it when black people talk about the struggles at work it's always about Corporate America?
It's always a, "Woe is me, I have a decent/great paying office job that I have to code switch for blah blah blah..." story

It's never about the shiit black folks have to deal with in blue collar America. If anything that breh gets ignored constantly

How do you plan on marketing book overall?

100% truth I'm still working that out. Right now pushing it out through any platforms/connections I have and going from there. Being real I could've taken some time and formulated a real strategy as I used to do a little marketing and do have some solid connections, but today is the 1 year mark of my pops passing and he was the OG writer and revolutionary in the family. I felt a pull to get it published before today so I just hustled to make that happen first. This is my first book and sometimes you just gotta do it otherwise you'll keep finding reasons not to
