i appreciate that do you care to expand please ?

i was thinking of a cartoon lion with wings in purple ... something simple like that.

Assuming that "lion with wings" means something to your vision/brand/message... you want an image or icon with a "lion with wings" (a griffin perhaps?), but you want it to be a simple vector image that isn't too graphically intense and would translate well as a stamp, a tattoo, on a tshirt, etc. The second image in your OP is a great representation of a simple icon.

bro you're powerful. :salute:

thats exactly what i am trying to emulate its for clothing line (coli-building-thread) ... purple because black people used to be called "purple" in their glory days. the lion for the african representation and the wings akin to a griffin for the arthouse couture side of things.

just throwing some rough drafts, i am highly motivated.

not mine but i like the appeal.

yeah that would work well as a logo. square framing so you can do a lot with that (throw the company name below it, throw text to the right, left justified, etc).

First rule of logo design:

start in black and add color later.

also, think of what story your brand is trying to tell. That’s more important off top than the imagery (sorry Im assuming you haven’t done this part yet if you have kudos)

think about who you’re trying to reach. Once you decide who, look at the types of brands those people already rock with. Decipher why. Take cues from these places.

Branding is the fun (yet extremely challenging) part. Read mad books but also take cues from brands you like or brands that are hot and try to find out why. Emulate and eliminate as you see fit.

Best of luck to you

lol going have to clean it up but this is roughly my kind of idea, needs a few minor adjustments then the font type should compliment the image.
