A man charged with murder was denied bond Tuesday in the case of a woman who was seen falling from a Lamborghini as it was driven through Buckhead last month.
Alfred Megbuluba, 31, of Lilburn, surrendered to police Oct. 18, a week after the Snellville woman’s death, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution previously reported. Witnesses said 28-year-old Catherine Khan was thrown out or pushed from the car at the intersection of Peachtree and Piedmont roads.
After Megbuluba was booked into the Fulton County Jail and made his first appearance the following day, his bond hearing was scheduled for Tuesday morning, according to court records. At the hearing, a Fulton Superior Court judge denied bond for Megbuluba, Channel 2 Action News reported.

The bond denial ensures that Megbuluba will remain in jail at least until his next hearing, which has not been scheduled, court records show. In addition to murder, Megbuluba is charged with credit card theft, credit card fraud and theft by taking, according to jail records. Atlanta police have not released any information about what led to the fraud and theft charges.
