I finally got around to (not) cashing in Godrick's remembrance. Both them weapons look trash. I might just eat it and get the runes, cause I'm not using either of them. I got my health up a bit finally, and I found two talismans that bump up my equip load, so that's good. Been using talisman that gives me heal on crits, but it's off now for the moment.
Fought and killed a few more mini bosses. Rode my horse north trying to fill out the map a bit. Got my Katana to +7 and Claws to +6. I have enough stones to get Claws to +7, but I'm gonna take my Katana to +8 first. Some dude in Roundtable gave me a +8 rapier lol. I was like wtf. I won't use it, but still. I think I'm gonna try dual-wielding katanas here in the near future. My equip load has to go up a bit more if I wanna do it without taking my current equipped armor pieces off. I may be able to switch out a piece or two, but it's not vital, I still have yet to find any light armor to wear smh.
I'm just glad the world is so big. I love to just wander around aimlessly seeing what I run into. I just wish there were more random side quests to do. Like to this day, I still haven't beaten Skyrim, solely because I wander around doing random shyt for random ppl. This game doesn't have that breadth of options, but it's still nice to be able to get lost in the game.
I saw someone above asking about a torch: legit the first thing I bought in the game from that dude at the church near starting point. But the Lantern is much better, cause you put it in your pouch and that's where it's attached, so it keeps your hands free for weapon/shield/bow whatever you keep in your LH. I got my Lantern from dude near the Liurnia Lake Shore Grace. Can't miss him. He's off to the left. 1,800 runes.
