First time playing a Dark Souls game. I've been trying to get this meteorite spell and you first have to beat this bytch named Royal Knight Loretta. I been playing video games my whole life and it took everything I had and like a day and a half to take this bytch down. I'm level 54 and bought the game like 3 days ago and haven't even started the main quest yet. Had to upgrade my weapon to like level 9, got bloody slash on it, got skeleton guys summon, leveled them up to 3, got the glintstone pellet spell, got the meteor staff, and still barely beat this bytch after like 50 tries. THEN after that, to get the actual meteorite spell, you have to fight another boss-dude, but by yourself. Did all of that only to find my intelligence is still 12 levels away. I'd already spent an hour leveling up intelligence like ten levels today by rune-farming just to be able to use the glintstone pebble spell. This game is merciless.
edit: forgot that I finished that second guy with like three bloody slashes in a row, which self-harm, so I killed myself accidentally just as I killed him and almost literally flipped out and snapped all my gaming shyt up. luckily, it showed the meteorite spell emblem on the screen before I died so I knew I had it and didn't give a fukk about dying.

Are the frame rate issues that bad on the PC? I can’t imagine getting finessed out of a boss fight from a frame rate drop. That shyt would make me toss my controller.
