say brehs, i've never heard of this guy. what's a good place to start to get into his piffery?

I'd start with the new album (Syro), then Selected Ambient Works '85-92, then the Richard D. James album, then literally anything else he did. Imo, the new album's the most accessable thing he's ever put out (it's not a bad thing in this case).

Windowlicker, if you haven't already heard it. Just listen to Windowlicker like 10 times in a row to start out :ahh: Then one of the SAW's. The first one is more dnb-type percussioned out stuff, just a lot more going on. Second one is total ambient, almost no drums and very chilling.

I've still been jammin' the hell out of the new album. Track 4 is funky as hell.
