The road to the Super Bowl in the AFC during Manning's prime was ridiculous. Steelers, Ravens, Patriots and the Chargers were piff. Not to diminish the NFC then but to have to beat those teams in the playoffs was like comparing the SEC to the PAC12 week to week.
