Flying cars aren’t ever going to happen. Imagine all that noise in the air. Cars flying between buildings. And if they make the cars silent, then the impact to wildlife will be disastrous. Cars would block out the sun etc etc. I wanna say Musk talks about this in his Rogan interview and basically said it’s not close to being realistic or feasible.

Flying cars would only become a reality when we are forced to grow neighborhoods and living spaces vertically. At some point in the cycle, humanity will become self aware enough to focus on surviving the inevitable deluge that resets this realm.
