i appreciate the homie, he makes good music...but he let his career die after that Elmatic album. That shyt garnered a lot of attention, rightfully so, yet he followed it up with pretty much nothing. Years later the underground scene is bigger, a lot of the cats who were bubbling or grinding back then are now popping big either on the mainstream level (Kendrick, Cole, Wiz) or on the underground level (Bronson, Spitta, KRIT, Roc Marciano, Danny Brown, Black Milk, etc) while he literally hasn't gone anywhere.
I remember when he was hyping a project with Madlib, based off one track he did with him. Since then Madlib has done some big things with rappers, most recenty Freddie Gibbs...who has also grinding ahead of where he once was in 2010/2011.
Dude reminds me of Maffew Ragazino: lots of promise but was lapped by his peers due to inactivity.
