I remember before Elon bought Twitter he claimed he wanted to fix the bot issue, which wasn't a major problem at the time. Well now there are hundreds of millions more bots, and the entire app/site is just a mixture of bullshyt. Racists, foreign agents, and extremists. Until Elon is removed this is going to get worse and keep fostering insanity amongst people.
The fix is easy in a post-Elon world: remove the engagement $ incentives (ie get rid of the bs blue checks) and just shadow ban anyone who uses a foreign IP or VPN to pretend to be American. The amount of Indians on there who are pretending to be US white nationalists/supremacists is insane.

When Elon made sure to hide public retweets and likes, I knew what’s up. You couldn’t see what people liked or retweeted anymore. It allowed Elon to artificially boost tweets with fake lies and retweets. That’s why you got bot/troll accounts pushing fake news and racist shyt getting 50K botted likes and 4 millions of botted views. All this happening because of the millions of virtual bots artificially running the algorithm.
Yeah most of the people I know IRL left twitter Because it became a cesspool. It was obvious Elon bought twitter to use it as a vehicle for propaganda. That’s why I permanently deleted my account last winter . I had enough. I was tired to see racist, negative and fascist slop on my timeline and on my page when I didn’t ask for it and didn’t search it. I even specifically curated my twitter profile for subjects completely unrelated to racism and nazi shyt. But Elon deliberately manipulated the site algorithm to force feed us racist lies deep in our throats. He obviously boosts racist accounts with Greek/roman, Third Reich or Anime profile pictures, and interacts daily with them. He allowed bots/trolls to push fake news and racism every day, all day. Twitter is forever ruined until someone else buys it because elon deliberately allowed the inmates (racist, incel and violent losers) to run the asylum(formerly twitter, now X )
But unfortunately as long as black twitter, porn twitter, sports twitter, etc stay over there it won’t bankrupt. Bad habits are hard to break. And I don’t see bluesky as a viable And popular alternative yet unfortunately.
And people have already noticed that many Russian, Hispanic, Indian grifters from troll farms on twitter are pretending to be American, Canadian, European or Australian white nationalists or supremacists. Many of these grifters have been exposed a long time ago….The running joke is that behind every « save Europe, America and the West » white racist profiles hides an Indian or Asian or Latino. Just like Andy Ngo or Ian miles cheong. Just like Many anti Indian accounts in twitter are actually run from people living in Pakistan.

Russians are also behind these obvious disinformation troll accounts pushing divisive ideologies on twitter in order to create political and social chaos in the west, particularly in America. They want to destabilize western countries from within.By blurring the lines between genuine news and fake news, they create confusion and mistrust within communities.
Its also driven by the algorithm. The internet in general since 2015 or so has become a really weird place ever since the advent of being able to monetize views, eyes and attention.
Its literally influencing and dictating people's life choices, ideologies and paths. Onlyfans, tradwives, Andrew tate fans, ragebait farmers, red pillers, female "relationship coaches", passport bros etc. etc
The willingness to sell his soul for Money always comes with the loss of one’s soul, dignity, morality, principles and pride. Most grifters are trend followers, opportunists and mercenaries who will pander to any cause for fame and money. Your values will be theirs depending on your price. They will tell you what you want to read and hear. Just like in the service industry where the motto is that the customer is always right…
It’s Not for nothing that in the Bible, God said that the love of money is the root of all evil.
Also there are plenty of Scammers Looking for a Quick Buck: as you know, some folks are in it purely for the money. They buy a blue check from elon, craft these extremist personas and post ragebait/engagement farming crap online to get attention/visibility, gather a big following and then financially exploit that audience through scams or shady deals.
