I think he's just referring to the freestyle sessions Flex used to have up there, like the cypher type jawns...Eminem probably smoked out the room including DMX and bro is turning that into a "battle". Or maybe they really did battle off-air, can't call it. Flex can confirm or deny...probably won't, lol.

lol like anyone cant have an off night? i dont understand why marshall has this reputation as like THE ultimate battle rapper but its been a good 30 years since that would have even been applicable to eminem anyways (and its not). AFAIK both juice and otherwize got in his ass. rhymefest also. but there was another (maybe white?) dude that beat marshall, i cant remember his god damn name. it was one of those three-word rap names, like "Open Mike Eagle" (not actually that guy) or something. i wanna say he was associated with some of those minneapolis indie rappers. and no its not MGK lol. if i can ever remember his name ill update the post

ive seen those videos of marshall "winning" "freestyle" matches hes just reciting bars he'd memorized (im aware of 'lazy writtens' and im not referring to that either) and later use on SSLP lol. he uses the same bars over and over too, like that puking up the middle fingers line. i dont think more than 5% is off the top ever. but i dont watch him enough to be sure either
