Eminem being white saved him from being relegated to the Redman, Ludacris, and E-40 tier of rappers

choose not to? ok? he didnt

yall dont understand that the biggest thing that seperates Nas and jayz and in this case tho lower all time eminem from a lot of artists is subject matter is crazy limited for a ton of artists. i love redman, he has an amazingly small amount of subject matter, maybe less than any other top 10 rapper all time? prolly now that i think about it

The fact that Red did more with less subject matter ( just “no serious songs” your words lol) shows even more how brilliant he was

It’s a lot of nikkas who have all types of subject matter and aren’t talented to make it work and keep the music interesting and intriguing to listen too

Eminem ain’t got a single album fukking with Whut Thee Album, Dare Iz A Darkside, Muddy Waters or Doc’s Da Name

Its a factor but its not the only reason, there are plenty of white rappers who don't have the audience EM has. Also the artist in the title are in completely different tiers.
Another factor is that white girls and women found him very attractive which really helped him with the TRL audience during the boy band era

Nikkas gotta stop with this sudden Luda push:mjlol: Of all the nikkas y'all could get behind:mjlol:

Ludacris had a great career. Nikkas would sell their mama for the success Luda had in the 2000s

You throwing docs da name in there lol so I get you're a major fan which im not mad at, all eminems first 3 albums are on par with those

but I will say I feel Muddy waters is the best album between the two

but it also doesnt change what I said. and that matters subject matter and being very limited IE Redman, pusha T, Drake even....yes that can be a major drawback when you talking goats

Ghost
Kendrick
Lupe
Eminem

Redmans projects post 2000 just were not that great and I love red, the quality wasnt there, the singles wernt really there either.

I mean i would say prolly Blackout 2 is his best project post 2002?

Red fell off by the 2000’s

That was after a historic 90’s run. 92’ to 99’

peoples obsession with eminem being white (unfairly), and eminems run of mostly not enjoyable music (2012-now) (fairly) makes people forget this guys catalog 97-2012

Now wait a minute, honkey

Em’s best years don’t spread from 97’ to 2012. See this the bullshyt I be talking bout with some of y’all on here :mjlol:

Em’s prime was 99’ to 02’. It was over after that

Would rather listen to (and enjoy) Warren G’s entire discography far more than Em.

Maybe a playlist of Em’s best stuff would be alright but he has been trash far longer than when he was popping and gimmicky.

Dude is atrocious as a producer and the Dr Dre/Jimmy Iovine reality distortion field did wonders for him — along with CACs believing he was the rap Larry Bird.

BTW Shady clothing sucked and how did no one in D12 tell him rocking durags wasn’t it

Doc’s Da Name is the shyt

Red was still razor sharp with the lyrics, E Double produced bout a great 10 beats on there too, in addition to Red and Rockwilder’s production too

Muddy is classic. My favorite is Dare Iz A Darkside

How an emcee approaches his or her subject matter and how they write and make it interesting is what matters to me.

What set Red apart from others was how he maintained being interesting in the 90’s on each of those first 4 albums and never once lost stream. He made that shyt look too easy

Relapse (which is kind of an ode to DIAD) is a lot of peoples favorite Eminem project, mine included and I'd rate it higher than all of maybe 1 of Luda's albums and most Redman's outside of his first 3 or 4, easily.

That omits Red’s classic 90’s run, which is what matters here.

Like I said, 2000’s is when Red’s albums fell off

More false narrative cap.

Notice every person that says this. Never reviwed the reckrd or battle in real time. Plus you would be hard pressed
To ever read.
a review from them ever..

These are rhe two artist.
i actually first said had potential before anyone and the cap. From others is a cap-tastic based rooted fallacy lie and false narrative. Same people talking about this positive for mgk. Need to be investigated for working for diddy.

Stop the cap.

Eminem would drop a goofy single then follow with a serious single, so he made sure the masses knew he could rap deep. Luda is arguably the most successful punchline rapper, he's had way more solo top40 songs than lil Wayne. He just stopped rapping for a long time. I've always wondered why Luda and Eminem never collabbed their both big Redman fans

Ludacris has had an incredible career. Outside of the Flo-Rida, Pitbull types you could argue he wrung more out of his career than anyone in hip-hop history. I thought his first album was a classic and the rest of his shyt was usually just corny. Made You Look remix verse was an all timer imo.
