The 2013 MTV Video Music Awards will be held on August 25 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. This will mark the 30th installment of this award show, and the first held in New York City not to use a venue within the borough of Manhattan. Nominations were announced on July 17, 2013. Leading the nominees were Justin Timberlake and Macklemore and Ryan Lewis with six, followed by Bruno Mars with four.
