Eminem doesn't measure up to Nas, Jay-Z, or even Kanye...

If Eminem was black his career numbers would mirror Tech N9ne...
And that's certainly not meant as a diss to Tech N9ne just saying the type of music and the dark content...

Tech N9ne is the artist Em would be if he was black...

Conversely as I say this... I consider Tech N9ne to be the most underrated rapper in the game...

Shock value has no lasting value. His songs like Rock Bottom tend to have more staying power.

It's not completely, utterly wack today... it's just lost so much of what impressed me before. As a middle school kid, this guy was technically amazing. Now, it's just cartoonish. This isn't true of everything I liked in 6th grade, Em's music is just stylistically dated. His style is like a fad that was dope as fukking hell at the time but got played the fukk out.

Em was my shyt when I was in Middle School.. but as I grew up I realized how god damn annoying his voice was.. AND once I got into Cage and noticed and learned he bit Cage's whole white rapper, rapping about fukked up parents, suicide and shyt "persona" and style hard af and ran with it.. I lost the respect I had for him.. Esp since Cage did it A LOT better
