Canibus - 100 Bars



Now, there will be lots of anger because I said the real. People will pretend I wasn't into hip hop or whatever, despite being verified I witnessed both Em's and Bis's careers in real time. Anyone that knows hip hop knows that Bis at one point was a fukkin problem (who quickly fell off hard as fukk). When this song dropped, it blew my fukkin mind. That "and that's really what caused Roswell" line is still one of my favorite punchlines in this rap shyt I remember having to actually go to the dictionary to find out what the fukk an encephalograph was. (google: electroencephalograph)

Eminem, your so-called goat lyricist, doesn't have a single song on this level. He never released a song that gave you that mindblowing WOW buzz that the highest levels of hip hop do. Where the beat is perfect, the vocals are perfect, and the rhymes are extraordinary.

How can we put Eminem, Ducktales and other pop rap entities on the goat pedestal when they've never made songs that blow away serious hip hop fans? Serious question. I'll take serious answers. But if your non-verified ass is gonna bytch, then don't @ me. Though you won't be able to help yourself and you'll @ me for the attention regardless

Now up until that point Canibus has put out numerous 100 bar songs but hadn't up to that point been as impressive with something on such a level since Poet Laurette Infinity in 2007. So Em gets the last nod because Rap God dropped in 2013.

this Canibus thing really isnt your area, we already proved that when u couldnt answer which beats he did were wack from the albums of this decade.. Canibus surpassed 100 Bars on the Mic Club album in 2002. In 2003 he had Poet Luereatte 2. By 2007 he did his final PLInfinity series with 5 sets of 200 bars to = 1000 bars for mix djs to flip infinite ways.

You are stuck in the year 2000 but Canibus took that 100 bars concept to new levels by 2007. I'm willing to bet you arent even familiar with the PL8 mixes.

By 2013 Em drops Rap God and in my humble opinion he lyrically surpasses Canibus on that 1 song compared to what Canibus was doing that same year....By 2013 Canibus was positioning his style amongst The Almighty 2 project. But nothing Canibus put out around that time was lyrically fukking with Rap God. So Em gets the lean towards the statement u make in the thread title.. There is no denying Ems style, flow, wordplay, technique, compond structure and execution on Rap God compares to that "100 bars level" you speak of that Canibus himself had surpassed by 2007.
