The over rapping shyt is after Relapse.. peak Em is elite, top notch

honestly, the D12 album is what really made me a fan. His verses in there. That and Marshall Mathers Lp showed growth. EminemShow and 8 Mile is peak mc’ing in my opinion.

The over rapping started after Relapse, but the yelling, screaming, and stupid accents started during Encore, 5 years prior to Relapse. Eminem Show and the 8 Mile soundtrack is 100% his peak though, lyrically and production wise. Very few people can touch that Eminem.

I miss Eminem in his prime when he was on drugs but I dislike the new sober Eminem like he doesn't know how to flow anymore, etc.

I hear that. Know this tho -

Eminem wasn't on drugs in that Infinite era at all save a beer and small amounts of weed.

He says it himself in his biography "The way I Am" he didn't start taking pills and other substances till after the Slim shady LP,more so during 8 Mile and on tour.

So if you're saying you miss Eminem on drugs you're saying you miss him on Encore and The Re-up.

At the start Em was working hard at work and trying to become a great emcee.

Relapse was very dope to me.

It was a great comeback for him. Crazy how he went right back downhill immediately after.

Also heard he himself didn't like Relapse much which was wild to me

He probably regrets the accents even tho I thought it kinda fit the theme of the album

the combo of Ems flow on Relapse and Dre production was :blessed:
