Eminem is so goofy to me. Yellow Brick Road is basically a non-apology. He blames Afrocentric rap music for making him feel insecure and then instead of saying sorry to black women, he just digs a deeper hole. Why not just say sorry? Why make this goofy ass song? fukk Marshall tbh.

His ex-wife said he's just a misogynistic peice of shyt that belittles all the females in his family including his daughters. She said it stems from the abuse his mother gave him but there's no defending his behaviour.

She said after the collapse of their 2nd marriage he drove her to suicide.

Great emcee but a shytty human.

In my opinion Kim and Eminem have both said toxic things about each other, but I don’t for a second believe that Eminem has been toxic towards his daughters. He appears to have a great relationship with all three and I’ve personally never once seen any of them in the media for anything negative only positive like Haille graduating from college.

It’s easy to say things out of anger to tarnish the reputation of an ex, but I’ve never heard anyone say Eminem is a bad father. He used to take the girls on the road with him when they were younger, and made sure he was always around for school stuff.

A shytty human doesn’t file for, and get full custody of a sibling, or give up the bedroom to a friend who just got shot.

In addition, a shytty human doesn’t raise two children that are biologically not his...

Encore started off so strong before it went off the rails. :snoop:

I always liked this song. It gives you some background information into who Eminem was when he was really young and getting into hip hop. He also talks about what it was like as a white guy trying to express his love for hip hop during a time where it was in its most conscious state. I don't think he should have went the "No matter what color a girl is, she's still a ho" route. This song wasn't the time for that. He should have just apologized and left it at that.

Song was dope up until the cop out at the end.

I remember watching the album reactions in real time, people were fukking with it right up until Puke and then the shyt took a nosedive, the leaks hurt that shyt bad.

Evil Deeds is one of my favorite Em songs that nobody else seems to like lol

Yeah, I feel the exact same way. Without the leaks, that album would have kept his run alive for at least another year and he would have had a perfect streak before he became a full-blown addict. I know the bonus tracks were part of the original Encore, but I'm wondering what else was supposed to make the cut. Would you have any idea?

I like "Evil Deeds." The first verse is weird because I don't "get" what Eminem was trying to do, but he saved it with the next two verses. I love the way the beat gets more dramatic near the end when he's talking about 50 carrying the baton and his soul leaving.

Me too, but sometimes I just don't catch everyline Em throws at me. I didn't realise what he was talking about until a few years ago I just thought "Yellow Brick Road" was a good song.:dead:

I didn't catch that last line until yesterday and I've listened to that album for damn near 20 years.:dead:

For what he did for 50 he'll always get the benefit of the doubt in my books but I honestly can't respect the insincerity of that apology as a black man. It's a tough pill to swallow because believe me I don't let shyt like that slide in real life. The amount of CACs I've pressed at school or at work I should be awarded a medal of honour.:snoop:
