That’s the same i seen 10 days ago vacationing in Paris... shyt was all over the metro, and all I could think was “euro cacs ain’t buying this one this time”... this album it’s going to be a major flop worldwide.
Remember when Michael Jackson in 2001 sold 10 mill worldwide, and got shelved by sony? He was coming from a 50mill sold to 10. It was a dud. For some artists (Eminem included) the market standards are useless, they set their own numbers, and the label, based on this expectations, gives him and advance... revival is a dud, by Eminem previous numbers, even his last one, and you can bet, that a lot of execs, and a&r at interscope are getting fired because of this rollout.

While this is true and I expect the album to keep selling due to streams...none of the tracks are really blowing up right now. Even the Ed Shereen track isn't doing what you'd expect it to do.

The Michael Jackson shyt went a lot deeper than that. He was leaving the label and called Motolla the devil reincarnated. That album could have done far better, butterflies went to #2 with no video and promotion altogether was half assed. The whole rollout of this Eminem album seems like a final album of the deal type shyt too. Em turning on half his fan base doesn’t help either

Jay Z gave away 1 million free copies it’s 1st week which was not counted. So jay numbers can really be classified as his 2nd week. So not a good look for Em historically

The sprint & samsung deals were Jay Z magic tricks to avoid this thread being made about him. If Em is done commercially, so is Jay.
