This is some psychological or insecurity thing with Elon. It's like he needs to prove he's an engineer. From the beginning of the Twitter takeover, i was wondering why he was so fixated on engineering when that was never Twitter's weak point.

Believe it or not, people actually do think he is Tony Stark, singlehandedly creating blueprints, testing, and creating hardware and he hasn't done much to correct that image.
