Top players of today:

Lebron
Rose :scusthov:
Durant
Westbrook
Dwight Howard :pacspit:
Damian Lilliard :noah:
Kyrie
Jrue Holidy
Blake Griffin
Greg Monroe
Anthony Davis
etc....

10 years ago:

Kobe :blessed:
Shaq
Duncan
KG
Allen Iverson
Tmac
Piru Pierce
Jason Da Kidd
Webber
etc....

I think not only was the NBA more talented back then(star player wise) but it was more entertaining mainly cuz of how ignorant it was

@ Ron artest promoting his rap album when being interviewed about the fight :deadmanny:

It's way better on both fronts now. 10 years ago we were still in the one star per team era. Talent was spread too thin. Talent has actually caught up in the last decade. Also you have multiple teams in each conference with a legit shot at the title as opposed to 2 teams in one conference running the entire league.

the NBA in the early 2000's was awful for the most part

-So many Europeans
-Wack ass high school players
-The East was atrocious
-The NBA Finals were wack as fukk.
-The Pacers vs Pistons vs Nets ECF games were pathetic
-NBA just started on ABC and it was wack.
-watching Iverson, Marbury, Steve Francis, and them nikkas was frustrating as fukk.

10 years ago? Today's game is much, much better. Offenses were so stagnant compared to now. Too much teams that relied on milking the shot clock and limiting possessions.

You know whats funny about this I used to feel like that until I started watching a lot of old nba footage from the 80-00's. If you think those guys was more agile, faster, bigger and stronger, and technically skilled you are wrong. This era mostly every player lives a relatively healthy lifestyle. They do go to practice and I would think none of them goes gambling before a big game. Yes, there were some exceptional players around 10 years ago but some of them would be average compared to today's player.

You bugged.

nikkas in the 80s and was way more skilled than today's player. You used to have teams where every nikka on the starting squad was a legit baller and future legend. Outside of a few superstars, today's NBA might as well be the D-League for back then.
