List N: Disinfectants for Use Against SARS-CoV-2 | US EPA

==================
If you’re traveling to hunt or fish any time soon, or just heading to turkey camp with the crew, you might want to add some cleaning products to your packing list. With the number of coronavirus cases on the rise, it just makes sense to wipe down counters, armrests, tray tables—any surfaces or objects that could be contaminated.

Not sure what disinfectant to buy? The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has just published a list of approved products that can kill the coronavirus. The only problem is that the pdf document they've made available is not exactly easy to follow. While the list does include a number of common product names, deciphering the full list would take you hours. We know, because we just did it. So to make life easier for you, below is a simpler rundown including 28 of the more common consumer disinfectants, with links to the products—all of which are strong enough to kill the virus, SARS-CoV-2, a coronavirus that causes COVID-19, according to the EPA.

The agency recommends that you follow the manufacturer's guidelines to the letter and use the longest recommended duration or most concentrated solution. They will be updating the list with additional products as information becomes available.

It’s important to remember that the novel coronavirus is thought to be spread primarily from direct person-to-person contact. That’s why the CDC says that handwashing is still the best way to prevent transmission. Still, experts say that you can become infected by touching a contaminated surface or object and then touching your mouth or eyes. So, while sprays and wipes only go so far, they can certainly help. So, pack your rods and reels and guns and ammo as usual—but also don’t forget the disinfectant.

Here's the list.

calm down that was not a personal attack but a general statement...I didn’t even know you made the thread...as I said “some people” clearly it doesn’t apply to you :yeshrug: it wasn’t a passive aggressive comment...I would’ve just said “fukk you” or called you “stupid” or some shyt if I felt the need to say something to you lol :cool:

uh no

I made a thread 2 weeks ago about the impending run on Clorox cleaning products, and the price gouging that would occur

https://www.thecoli.com/threads/kid...r-this-week-the-price-aint-going-down.764008/

I didn't see this info posted on the forum, so decided to make a stand alone thread about what a govt. agency is saying about the products and treatment time recommended for safety.
