Yeah, that was one of the deep, dramatic moments in the show. When Carlton went from a goofy dude to "It ain't gonna happen to me" packing a gat.

Then Will was like "Carlton, give me the gun. I SAVED UR LIFE! U OWE ME!"

That was a teary eyed moment.

To me, 1st watching it as a kid was another of those teary eyed moments.

Also its kind of ironic cause one of my good friends I grew up with as a kid kinda looked like Will Smith and he got mixed up in drugs at a young age so that moment makes me think of him.

I think Will's serious acting in the Fresh Prince was on point

i used to lok up to my nikka he had the hoes and stayed in some Retros
when he got shot my heart tured cold for a lil minute
that shyt crazy how young i was and was really affected by that episode
