Has he ever taken accountability for anything wrestling related?
He'll eat some shyt for the booking leading to him getting sent home in 98. Anything after he came back to WCW, he just had no control over anything and was just as shocked as everyone else at everything

Then went TNA and says he didn't understand the X-Division and didn't like the 6 sided ring. He got in Dixie's ear that they needed to move to Monday and leave Orlando and hit the road. So he killed TNA, but he says he was just the advisor and was only there mostly to manage Hogan lol. He's a good talker but he's still pointing fingers 23 years and 2 companies later

Before Eric Bischoff, TNA was good. After him we have Impact Wrestling.

/This

The damn company had a video game (hate or love it, but the game still slammed), a hardcore following, live ass crowds, legit events, and a good roster. Only for Hoegan and Bischoff to turn it into WCW on a Dollar Tree budget.

The Lapsed Fan podcast recently began a series on Hoegan and Bischoff's time in TNA (TNH: Total Nonstop Hogan), it's excellent so far.

2009 is probably my favorite year of TNA, so I was mad as hell when Hulk and Eric immediately ruined everything. Dipped but then came back around 2012 once the product had improved.

IIRC the only creative he was involved with involved Hoegan's storylines. Don't think Bischoff had any say over what others did or what talent was brought in.
Bischoff always absolves himself from responsibility. He holds on to those 83 weeks like a badge of honor when in reality it was giving WWE the room to destroy him in the end.

Dude couldnt make it work with a blank check in WCW and the death of that in the way it happened killed off what could have been a great starting fanbase for TNA. He is the prime example of not knowing what to do

TNA was far from perfect before Hogan/Bischoff came in but it had an identity and was a viable alternative to WWE, hell there were times when I’d be much more interested in TNA than WWE.

Hogan and Bischoff came in a change EVERYTHING and made it a knockoff WWE with a bunch of old cacs trying to relive their WCW and ECW days complete with a bootleg NWO and Four Horsemen, even had a tired ass ECW reunion. Completely pushed their youth to the side. They never recovered from that era.

Bischoff starting off a prime time show with a fake ass guitar solo was one of the strangest things I’ve ever seen.
