I think it is to early for this. None of the other safeties have been signed either. The safety market just sucks right now.

Yeah bengals seemed to be interested until he met with ownership and they told him that players would not be allowed to kneel. Reid wasn’t planning on kneeling this season anyway but that caught him off guard and probably killed any interest both sides had.

Hes not the only free agent safety that hasn’t been signed yet
There’s no way they can prove collusion so why file now and decrease your chances of getting signed

Panthers have expressed interest in him too among other team. If he wasn't getting any interest a week b4 training camp but even Kenny Vaccaro hasn't been signed either
I get what he's doing. I support him but know it's a VERY big hill he has to overcome to even settle this, much less win it.

Eric Reid is one of best safeties out there he should been signed by now.Mathieu was picked by Texans tho 
I still feel like he would've been picked up in the next few weeks. But if he and his team thinks it's the right move to make then I support that shyt
