breh its pretty sad they find some way to criticize Rick Kettles and the tremendous work he has done with this for over a decade now I mean colonialism really works really well on us...
if i were to tell my family about being interested in this and taking this test one day I can already picture the responses...it really is sad we act like this....

Brehs a Black American is more genetically diverse than an African. However Africa is the continent with the biggest indigenous ( unmixed) genetic variation.
As a black man, this is a pretty intimidating undertaking.
I remember having a discussion with a classmate about this and downplaying it's importance.
We really only have an identity of being subordinate in the country of the USA. It's a lot to take in that you decend from a culture you have little to no connection to.

On a serious note...yeah man I just came off seeing some youtube comments saying things like can someone explain if this is legit "I want to know because you all know what we have been through already". Part of me understands what the person is saying but the other part is annoyed. Because we know for a fact that if the test was EuropeanAncestry and did the same thing AfricanAncestry does...yes I know its unncessary since white folks had word of mouth and documents compared to us....
But if it was EuropeanAncestry Black folks would believe it in a sec...
I don't know about you though but I'm mainly focused on the MatriClan test....I don't wanna risk taking the PatriClan and having the knowledge that my paternal ancestors are....cacs
cause ill get heated....I know some of us got african ancestry in both tests but they explained on the site the low percentages for the paternal test for the obvious reason of the slave masters raping our great grandmothers....@Easy-E summed up my feelings....like this is pretty intimidating....I can't wait for the day I do the test but I am anxious at the same time...I don't know how to put it into words...its like something you have building up to find out all your life
My mother's side is Jamaican(my dads is trinidadian but like i explained im pretty much given up on the paternal test cause i expect bad news)
I've been trying to see some sample Jamaican celebs tests to get an idea if it confirms what was long said of how we are mainly from Ghana..Guinea..Gabon....Niger...etc
But if you check the main site most of the people listed are African Americans....I don't know wh the hell are Usain and Damian slipping
@Napoleon we all know the stories already about Jamaicans(my mother's side) and having mainly Ghana....Nigeria(south) ...Gabon....etc so im already expecting my results to come from one of the above...but do you know anything about Trinidad(my father's side) that seems like one of the forgotten mentions and its like i can never find details on that online...
