limon did that girl wrong :wow:. she was a dime and he should have left pablo's :flabbynsick: ass and started a new life with her.

I think his craziness got him to the top but there is only so long people would accept his shyt. there's lessons in life when you analyse how empires crumbled.

have to salute him for going to war like that though. one drugs crew against Columbia, USA, the Cali Cartel and enemies from within their own cartel that knew all the insider info (Los Pepes).

season 3 can't come soon enough

Yes he was squeezed like a lemon, los pepes did the major work against his crew though

Rewatching Narcos and just finished S2.

Tata was ride or die, but very much the type to get you into shyt. Theme of these Spanish-language shows. The women want you to be a savage, but you the one spilling blood while they're chopping up onions and cilantro in the kitchen.

Mama Escobar was ruthless and enabled her son. Pops left because he saw the writing on the wall and didn't want to be tied to that shyt even early on.

CIA Bill....dude was always playing with Pena but ironically, he was a pawn. Dude was still fighting the Cold War in the 90s when the USSR had already fallen. He felt like a relic of a bygone era....but he's a great representation of how America gets down in foreign countries, especially anywhere that's not Western Europe/Canada/Australia.

Pablo....I think his modest upbringing is what made him so many enemies. The elites didn't mind taking his money, but they couldn't stand to see someone from his social class try brute-force his way up the political totem pole. One thing people don't know is that Tata's family felt Pablo was too "low-born" for her IRL. I think that was a bigger issue than the age gap. Latin America, basically looks at girls as adults once they hit puberty, especially back then. The wheels fell off once Gustavo was gone. His cousin was the only one who could talk to him like an equal, like a man and Pablo would actually listen.

Cali Cartel was smart to focus on drug and legit business. Politics is too messy.

Judy Moncada.....I had already seen the show but forgot how her story went. Kept waiting for Don Berna to blast her upside the head with a .44 or some shyt. She reminded me of the toupee dude from Goodfellas. Always asking about their money, trying to demand a cut. I can understand why they got tired of her. If you're a female, you gotta get down in the trenches with the men if you want that $$$.

Maritza should have kept her mouth shut. She didn't realize how far Limon/Jhon had fallen. Dude was hooked on Pablo like heroin. "Si Patron." Did she knowingly help them against Carillo or did Limon save her life by pretending she was in on it???

Jhon/Quica/Blackie should have gathered up the money when there was still a decent amount left and just got the fukk outta dodge. Makes you wonder how much they got paid. If Pablo was making like $420M/week or whatever it was...how much would a top lieutenant guy like La Quica or Blackie make?

Pena knew how to get shyt done but he kept running into bureaucracy. The CIA didn't care about drugs, only installing people in positions of power who favored U.S. interests. The Colombians in the show (like DeGrieff) acted like they hated Pablo yet kept protecting him even if they weren't on his payroll. It's like they wanted to take him down but not all the elites getting paid by him. Those same elites getting paid by Pablo would have their hands out when Cali is paying government officials.

Cali cartel wasn’t smart enough to realize they were up next after Pablo died, why celebrate your own death?

Dude,

Women may be the downfall of a lot of men.
But Pablo went down because of his own hubris. Not because of Tata or any of his mistresses.

I never said she took him down.

Only that women like her and Moncada talk all the big shyt but they're never the ones doing the dirty work.
