I mean the majority of law enforcement press conferences are theater. They be having press conferences for an ounce of weed and old ass .38s in my city. Most ppl can see through it
Is this politically motivated? Maybe. But nikkas still in the indictment for things that actually happened so that's on them

These dudes needed money that bad? To link up with the Italian mob? Should throw the book at them for that alone making racist Italians rich.
:yeshrug:
I assume like most people they like to gamble and got down big, and this was their way out of it.

Lots of people you wouldn't expect by looking at them are degenerate gamblers. I worked with a guy who probably lost 100K in just a few years. He couldn't stop himself.

I look at it as having zero will power. I don't care how much I lose gambling. Once I reach my limit it's easy for me to walk away and not think twice about it. Some dudes can't once they get hooked.

Are yall blaming the Biden admin?
because thats who started it

Trump and them def wanted to get in on this because he's circling the block on everyone he thinks went after him...
but these cases were all started under Biden.

I bet the thread went on without acknowledging this. Black folks have a delusion of thinking any of them people are for them. Still basically slaves in a land. Try to move somewhere else as a group and see how hard they try to make it.

Not in the case of this type of situation because of the long term implications.

You'll have people thinking there's shady shyt going on with refs and players everytime they have a bad game or make a bad call.

That's not good for the league on top of having the feds snooping around and what they could find even not related to gambling.

It can fukk with the integrity and reputation of the league long term.
All facts, but the way ESPN and all these pro leagues are hopping in bed with gambling I think people are getting desensitized with it all. Plus all the outside real world problems like people getting laid off and rising food costs, how mad and disgusted are they going to get at sports scandals. Its definitely not good long term, but the outrage is fleeting more and more from the general public on things such as this.

I don't like the NBA being associated with being a black league.
black workers don't make it a black league and its silly.
That said the prosecution is definitely politically motivated.
Until I see indictments and arrests on Joey Crawford and the ilk the FBI aint looking for shyt.

Not in the slightest especially considering these days people are pulling up on players and their families due to being degenerative gamblers. Dudes will be ready to run the fade and potentially kill someone if it comes out that players and referees are actually in on costing them bread at the expense of making their own.

That's why Jaylen Brown is sounding the alarm and asking what is the NBA doing to help out.

I don't follow sports too tough, but this looked flagrant to me.

But a lot of folks, our folks especially, and The Coli in particular aren't media savvy.
