they been making these specific news for white people to read for a while. Next thing you know they finna hire that dude who used to narrate gangland episodes so he could read fake ass espn news titles in the show for them white folks:

. also, if you're a kid in the newsroom trying to go from temp to full-time, the easiest way to do it is to drive traffic. i'm not saying it's cool. but if the higher ups aren't teaching you to do the job the right way, you can't be surprised when people go the clickbait route. it's cheap, but it works.
