The world it getting more equal. Normally it's yt people that are "afraid" of everything. Cold, barbarous ice-age caused that.

You didnt mention race tho, and neither did jemele. In fact, jemele spoke out to cosign a white/asian chic. Race didn't enter you or jemele's thought process here, and thats my point. Too many black women are women first and put more importance on gender politics than they do racism and racial solidarity with black men. You didnt look at this from a black perspective you looked at it from a woman's perspective. You didn't think for 1 second how this way of thinking indirectly reinforces negative stereorypes and beliefs about black men in particular and black people as a whole. These crackers are "uncomfortable" around you in case you didn't know.
What? Are you looking at this from a female perspective at all?

In the scenario that I'm leaving an elevator to get to my apt and a man gets off with me...I'm NOT supposed to fear the possibilty of being followed to my door because white people are uncomfortable around black men?

Break it down for me a little more for me, cause I'm really not understanding the outrage in this thread. :ld:

Sounds to me like they're talking hotels especially since they both travel a lot. What they're saying makes sense, especially when you take the Erin Andrews shyt into account. Women think men may creep behind them to find out what hotel room they are in. It's easy to say they are crazy but these are women in an industry with a majority of male fans. It makes sense that they'd be extra careful about their surroundings.

I think it's times like these men should shut up and listen instead of being so quick to go into the mode of these bytches need to shut up. As a black man especially I relate. When you grow up in a bad neighborhood you go through all these mental checks to make sure you won't be caught slipping. I do this as a big dude that can hold my own. For a woman it's even more amplified.
If you believe this then when folks calling the cops and all that Jazz you better not be yacking about cac this and cac that. That’s the same logic those people use when doing what they’re doing. Personally not telling anyone to shut up just think it’s not a thing like folks make it. The whole they’re women stuff don’t fly either like nobody has women they can ask these same questions and agree with us too. This is just like most things something that is polarizing and I’m not shutting up just so folks can say any ole thing because they are a different gender.

Weirdos that are doing what you’re talking about is being generous 10% of dudes. That’s super generous so yeah I think guys are going to feel some type of way about things that most are doing just to be nice being made as another men are evil junk.

But ya'll the same dudes who talk about getting a concealed carry license and staying strapped at all times cuz you never know what can happen... why is your constant fear valid but her constant fear isn't?? :camby:
If what youre saying is true point out exactly who says this double talk. For me your kicking garbage because I’ve never said such. What’s your bs answer now when you can’t just make up a narrative out of nowhere?

No, I don't see why white people are uncomfortable around blacks as they are the more violent race.

How is that similar at all?
Oh white people are? You may know that, but they'll pull up the incarceration numbers. His point is very valid.

The dos and don'ts are becoming excessive. Most of the time, people are lost in their own heads with their own bullshyt, to be conscious of everything that's about to make *insert random stranger* uncomfortable.

I hate women like this. I shouldn't have to coddle chicks because of what other men did or because of whatever traumatic experiences they have had with other men.

This is why I pick and choose who I interact with when it comes women. Laid back cool chicks I can talk to but I want nothing to do with these paranoid feminist freaks.

Damn yall mad af in this thread. :laff:

I don't think there is anything a guy can do in this situation make me more comfortable, but it's weird that you guys can't see why the average woman would be uncomfortable in this scenario.

The average man is not thinking about y'all when we get in an elevator, the assumption that we're inherently up to no good is the same assumption that whites make about black people looking suspicious. When all they're doing is literally just existing.
