Well, this is interesting.

Jay Z and Beyonce have decided to give up meat for 22 days. Hip-Pop’s royal couple will instead partake in a plant-based diet, which means they’ll join the long list of celebrities that swear by the vegan lifestyle.

Jay wrote on his site Life + Times:

On December 3rd, one day before my 44th birthday I will embark on a 22 Days challenge to go completely vegan, or as I prefer to call it, plant-based!! This all began a few months back when a good friend and vegan challenged me to embrace a “plant-based breakfast” everyday. It was surprisingly easier on me than I thought…

Why now? There’s something spiritual to me about it being my 64th birthday and the serendipity behind the number of days in this challenge; 22 (2+2=4) coupled with the fact that the challenge ends on Christmas day…It just feels right!

So you can call it a spiritual and physical cleanse. I will post my progress… Any professional vegans out there that have any great food spots please help out! Please ha. I don’t know what happens after Christmas. A semi-vegan, a full plant-based diet? Or just a spiritual and physical challenge? We’ll see…

The power couple are apparently able to give up meat, but not shopping at Barneys. We guess Jay Z and Beyonce decided to see if Barneys in Beverly Hills would racially profile them…

The couple was spotted in BH doing a little bit of shopping at the luxury department store. Jay rocked a beanie, while Bey looked disheveled chic in leather shorts and sky-high heels paired with messy hair.

Interesting....I wonder how many people will adopt this now B and Jay have? With their Money this isnt even a big deal really, it's not like B goes out grocery shopping stressing over what to cook that evening for Jay!

Doesn't seem like much a feat

Camels can go for days or even weeks with little or no food or water. Desert people feed their camels dates, grass, and such grains as wheat and oats. In zoos, the animals eat hay and dry grains--about 3.5 kilograms of each every day. If food is very scarce, a camel will eat anything--bones, fish, meat, leather, and even its owner's tent.

I guess the camel finally realized he's rich so he can revert back to his natural diet
