Dope video I came across on twitter made by CBC and Andrew lawrence. It's about 30 minutes and his voice is very Ben Steinish, but if you can get through it, you'll learn a lot about the deep rooted friendship between Ethiopians and AA. Now, more than ever, I believe it is important to open up the panafrican discussions.
I don't say this in hopes of having black americans flock to Africa to colonize it for themselves but more so as an offer to help each other out. You come to Africa and use your skill sets to develop and grow the country as well as develop the capacity of the people there, and in return, the opportunities presented and connections made will give you the competitive advantage necessary to thrive in this globalized society. Details, still need to be worked out of course, but like I stated in the other thread, I'm moving to Ethiopia in 2 weeks and I'll do my best to create a direct pipeline to Howard (my law school alma mater) and Dr. Carr and see what we can do about summer internships and job programs back in Ethiopia.
All the naysayers, please sit down.
