Caught that 2016 political/ideological fade.
Sohh their response..............

-21st Century Book Burning
-Electronic Censorship.
-Smack the Shiit Out of Open, Transparent, Free Dialogue.
-Middle Finger to the Ideals of 1st Amendment.

So EU has or is loosing referendums, whereby citizens are voting against EU policies and in favor of their nation-state. EU Demands Social Media Websites Censor “Fake News” Within 24 Hours

Congress lost control of the political hegemony, that is "establishment" based. Where only "club" members are supposedly allowed to operate at the top, when Trump came through like an Orange face Godzilla. They blaming Russia, but really it's a ploy to go at domestic alt/indy media. Congress Just Quietly Passed a Bill Targeting "Russian Propaganda" Websites

Big Corporate/Mainstream Media and Silicon Valley information/social media overlords lost, as the masses refused to listen/believe their analysis or lack thereof on the flood of information that came out in 2016. Instead, the alt/indy media became unprecendented in its popularity, record setting year in website hits. Not to mention, the fact that Silicon Valley digital systems were used by people they politically/ideologically disagreed, defeating people and agendas that Silicon Valley supported. Corporate Media Demands Social Media Ban "Fake News"

We knew this day might come, but it appears, they really trying to censor alt/indy and label it fake news. I've said it before, that the goal was to turn the Internet into cable TV. Very stale and stagnant, and one way flow of information. There are other social media and search engines that are being developed or becoming more popular as a result of the censorship, but its still a little unsettling to see literal censorship of basic news and opinions in a Western world context that claims to be beacon of freedom and shiit ..:usure:.

Let me add, that you may think well the alt/indy media is "this and that" and I don't like them, etc. Well technically a lot of things you look at is alt/indy media. It's not being paid for by big corporations and they don't give you this sugar-coated analysis. However, the target right now are those sources that are actually having global impacts on agendas. It's just information though, how soon before your favorite alt/indy media ends up on that censored summer jam screen? Yall really want to live in a world that censors the free flow of information, regardless, if you agree with the substance or the source of the information? Sounds a little dystopian ..... :dame:.

Yeah I don't care what the future repercussions are I want to put a lid on this white supremacy surge immediately.

Surge??....:snoop:......Do you know American history....from 1619 to 2016.....:francis:

1st Amendment is the only reason thecoli exist, considering the wide range of dialogue, but same for any other American based website. This site wouldn't exist in N. Korea, China, some Muslims countries, other places. If it did exist, it would be underground in a less free speech country. Just because it seems like they are going after a group you dislike, doesn't mean it won't envelop ideas and pundits you like or agree with at some point.

This ain't about white supremacy or even Russian media. This law is about ideas and concepts that are not in line with the status quo. For instance, Russia has a ban or is not as accomodating to GMO foods, and we talk about eating organic and this and that. The alt/indy media talks about it too. Yet, BHO in 2008 hired a former Monsanto executive to head the FDA, so for 8 years you have never once heard him or anybody from that agency or media talk objectively about safety of GMO foods. So with this law they can claim that alt/indy media is spewing Russian propaganda about GMO foods, and then go after websites promoting healthy living, clean food, etc.

:sas1: They got folks on zombie mental plantation, and they don't want you to leave.

*I'll wait for the Congressional report, of course BHO is going to sign this bill into law before the report* :sas2:

Republicans in Congress weren't gung-ho about Trump
The point is they passed a provision that shat on our 1st Amendment. Most folks have no clue what just happened....it's :snoop:.

They're really pushing hard to take down free speech, and a lot of people don't know how search engines like google or social media sites like facebook control the thought processes of people by quietly using algorithms to return more 'desirable' search results and news stories.
