This big cast makes me think it’s going to be a set of standalone episodes. I doubt the big stars are in more than one episode outside a few pop ups. They probably were on set for maybe a week. Zendaya gets one centered around her, Sydney gets one, etc with all the new characters filling in the gaps. Then OGs probably show up for a couple of scenes in the final episode.
