so my kids took over my consoles...and this generational iterational shyt has plucked my nerves so i decided to build a rig and get a steam controller. ive been researching for a couple weeks and heres what i want

the only thing im iffy about is the graphics card. but i will consider any suggestions

looks pretty solid. you might want a think about a regular HDD for bullshyt you don't want taking up your valuable SSD space

GTX 1060 would be a much better choice for a videocard or even a 970. They should be about the same price but benchmark much higher. Go with a 1070 if your budget can afford it.
i wanted 8gb within my price range. believe me if i had the cake i wouldve grabbed the 1070, but im actually happy for the time being

I've just had bad experiences with amd and their drivers. The 6 gigs of the 1060 should be plenty but if you're planning on going crossfire/sli then stick with 480. I have 12gb's on my titan x's and rarely ever go above 6 gigs even at resolutions well above 1080p.
