Louisiana is one of the most conservative states in the Union, if he doesn't pass it he's finished come election and it sicks that it has to be like that in today's politics but most people in the US are 1 or 2 issue voters and abortion is one of the golden geese. Which is again crazy because unwanted children are gonna be abandoned and become part of the system or left to die, but conservatives don't think that far ahead.

Edit: So some women don't know if they're pregnant. Makes sense. However that's no excuse, if you letting dudes bust inside you should be getting tested periodically. Birth control has already been deemed not 100% effective.
