100%.And even if you get a job working for the man there is still a glass ceiling.
Stop begging for a job. Learn a skill and learn how to make it profitable.
Nothing is easy when you have a pessimistic attitude though. Your reality is based on your perception breh. Individuals need to start with getting their mind right before they want to do anything else.People love to throw out that "you have a worker mentality" and "start your own business" like it's the easiest thing in the world.
I haven't worked a real job in about 7-8 years because I work for myself. It's not that easy. Sometimes you have to work for someone else so you can handle your affairs, pay your student loans, live on your own. Unfortunately some of us weren't blessed the the opportunity get full time jobs out of college and make a living.
I have an ivy league degree and found getting a real job difficult.....I had no choice but to pursue my dreams.
Only fukking job I could get was at a start up working for free.....which is basically when I realized WTF am I doing, I'm basically working 40 hours a week chasing someone else's dream, I made more fukking money djing for myself. My mom was all proud talking about be glad you have job and all this dumb shyt as if working for someone for free was better than me getting paid to do my own things.

Rigged, yes but different. There was a time you can do everything right especially as a African American and success would come. Not saying you didn't have to play your cards right because you did but you had options. Today, it's like it was for Africans in the 80's where a lot of folks ain't getting in unless they go to the right schools in the right majors.it was always rigged for black people
lol update: i do my own thing nowyup....., they did a study...white convicts get hired before black grads with no record......I gotta degree and work a shytty job and my cac manager promoted some inbred hick over me even tho I'm good @ what I do, I'm over qualified and brought skills that changed the our district policy because other stores couldn't keep up with the shyt I was doing, I single handily changed the culture of the dept and position, won quality awards and grossed over 500.000 in sales when I was the leader....yet I still had to go over that cac head to get promoted.....I couldve cured cancer and he still probably wouldn't promote me....piece of shyt....cacs r evil, that's why as a black person U GOTTA HUSTLE...PERIOD!!!!!!!, always try to be the best @ what u do, dont let the fight go to the judges, if ur black u gotta score the knockout.....thank got I know how to hustle...I started a business and gaining clients weekly
If ur black u gotta try entrepreneurship and we need to practice group economics ....u don't see towel heads begging for jobs , do u?
but it was amazing what a did looking back on it and that was retail...i really turned that dept into a legit business...im not trying to brag but i think us young black men can do great things....u just have to believe in yaself and fight of your beliefs even if ppl hate for itPeople love to throw out that "you have a worker mentality" and "start your own business" like it's the easiest thing in the world.
