Ever have a dream about a deceased loved one?

I have lucid dreams most nights as well.

I actually had a similar dream to @patscorpio recently. This girl that used to be a good friend of mine and I have lost contact with, haven't spoken to her in years.

I dreamt I was speaking to her and halfway through the conversation I realized she was a demon. I woke up right then, I was kinda shook.

that's been happening with me recently. mostly it's been dreams of women i've dealt with, then i end up back in contact with them shortly after i have the dream. or like if it's a girl i just met, i have a dream of her and then i'll see her again. there's been high occurrences of deja vu and premonitions in my life over the last few months. or even just basic things, like i'll think about a random person or situation that's happened in my life and somehow, some way, something related to that person or situation appears in my life later that day. for instance, last wednesday i was listening to the music of one of my favorite saxophonists in new york city and i was thinking about how very few new york musicians manage to make it down here to new orleans. then, later that day at a rehearsal, i find out one of my other friends knows the guy as well and he tells me he might be coming down to NOLA during mardi gras. just random stuff like that...

My dad died several years ago from cancer. Since his death, I've had several dreams about him. I appreciate those dreams because that's the only time that I can spend with him now that he's gone.
