It's about the four players who broke the color barrier for the nfl and aafc. Kenny Washington, Willie Strode, Marion Motley, and Bill Willis.
It's a decent documentary wish it would have gone deeper into the prejudice they faced in the field but it's informative. It's on netflix.
Shoutout to the Browns. Paul Brown was a good human being.
And fukk the Redskins and their owner he's the one who instituted the color line in the 1st place.
Give it a watch there's nothing else on tv.

Why the fukk are these guys not known like Jackie Robinson??!!! :mindblown: I'm 34 years old and have never heard either of their names.

Woody Strode was actor, and was nominated for a Golden Globe for Spatacus

He and Kenny Washington played football with Jackie at UCLA

Baseball was the biggest sport. Football was still relatively small back then.
But if it had not been for these guys branch rickey wouldn't have brought Jackie up. It touches on it a small bit. They were a year or two before Jackie. And Jackie actually played with willie strode and Kenny Washington at ucla.
