If NY laws are anything like CA laws u can’t legally take that gun back across state lines. Furthermore you can’t buy a handgun without proof of residency in the state of purchase (car reg, utility bill) in addition to a state id.

If it was as simple as driving to the next state, I would have all types of crazy shyt from Nevada. Have u ever seen a CA-compliant AK? That shyts a joke.

Illinois is fukking me over tho. my conceal carry expires 6/11 and I paid for the renewal back on 2/15 and then the state shutdown and they haven't sent me a new card still. now they saying that cards are valid for another year after this covid shyt ends and i'm good, but I've documented all that shyt from the state police website and keep it in my phone just incase they try to pull some bullshyt.

I have receipts that show I renewed in feb, that I paid, and the message about the expiration date not mattering right now.

Applied for my foid card in January. Haven’t heard shyt
