There has never been a successful free market ultra-capitalist society either.

Even the US is a mixed economy that is capitalist but has elements of socialism (social security, medicare, tax payer funded schools, roads, public parks, police, fire department, the FDA etc.), and every 4 to 8 years when capitalism fails in this country, it's socialist policies that are needed to keep the country from descending into a great depression.

With the amount of bailouts corporations get, we don't even live in a true free market. Covid saw one of the largest transfers of money from the working class to the owner class.

Massive relief money was doled out, and forgiven for the capitalist class. Whilst thr gov't (heavily influenced by corporate interests) couldn't even do a proper bill for working class people who had to stay home and build up debt.

I'd also add that many socialist/communist nations were constantly besieged and sabotaged. Hakim talks in depth about this.

Also America is pretty much the prime candidate for operating on a mixed economy. We have the gpd, government infrastructure and global influence to make it work. No other nation in Human history is in this position.

China has potential but they are understandable hostile to western economic influence and most of their country is underdeveloped compared to other first worlds. Their free enterprise zones are a step in the right direction but their goal is regionl domination....not making socialism "work".

• Folks want a better healthcare system that actually has mercy for low to middle class
• Folks want an education system that doesn't rely on tire runs to get books on some WW2 shyt
• Folks want a better economic structure, so they won't have to "rob, steal, kill" just to make it Murikkka
• Folks want a better environment, accessible transportation, and other forms of quality of life
