Every song is produced by Mike Will or some faq and features at least one of 2 Chainz, Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, Future and Juicy J.

yep, said that in another thread, i hate these mixtapes that are all collaborations of the same 5-10 artists that then appear on the retail album which looks more like a compilation than a solo release. nikkas have 15 tracks on an album and all of 18 verses

They hold rappers to different standards than white artists. Now Im sure Bon Jovi (who has the #1 album in the country this week) didnt have to do collabs or mixtape to get a release. David Bowie either who came in at #2

But Im not gonna complain because the blatant cuddling these rappers do (the same 5 or 7) dont deserve the sympathy. Stand on your own two on a record.. got damn

Hip-Hop and whatever you wanna call what Bowie/Jovi do are two different markets and fanbases...the rollout and expectations of the projects are too different to compare..plus those two are legends...Jay-Z don't need collabs or a mixtape for a release date

I agree though, it's kind of sickening how this era is just one big posse cut
