it was a trend that happened around the late 90's and early 2000's to try to appeal to the south with the bounce double time flow. sometimes it worked sometimes it didn't, it took Nas 3 goes to finally get it right with Heaven



that flow is different to the double time flow that a lot of rappers do these days, it's more about the swing of the beat that dictates the flow like that.

Nah nah not that new stuff I'm talking bout that late 90s early 2000s trend like @DaveyDave said how do I find all the tracks like that without searching high and low. because honestly when different rappers tried it, it always sounded dope to me.
