it's just alright to me (the song), beat is okeish (in line with what primo does pretty much these days), the scratched sample feels to me somewhat lazy or maybe i;ve listened to g thang way too much

Yessir. Album drops January 26th. So exactly 2 weeks I guess?
I'm a little surprise they even dropped another video/single for it since it drops so soon, and the last video felt like it just dropped. But time also flies and it may have come out farther back than I realized.
I thought this was dope. Premier hasn't blown me away with a beat in a long time but I'm not disliking what he drops either. I like this way better than the Good as Gone joint Primo did for Dilated's last album. Wasn't a big fan of that beat at all.
As far as the raps I feel like there's a good mix of story telling and shyt talking.

Evidence is a dope producer in his own right, The Weatherman to me is his best album, he's from the Soul Assassins family and I support everything from The Soul Assassins, looking forward to this album

Definitely my least favorite of the 3 singles but it's not terrible. The beat is the problem, I feel like Preemo half assed this. Ev's lyrics are on point. I would love to hear this remixed
