guess who supplied the drums for the last call on college dropout

YES!

In fact...

Ev did the whole damn beat LOL. Kanye came in and added all the instruments at the end, changed the snare out, and Ev was happy to take the co-production credit. It was meant for the Black Album, but when Jay passed, Ev was happy for Kanye to use it for Dropout.

But to Kanye's credit Ev does say that he learned a lot from kanye, and that Kanye added a ton to the beat, and really fleshed it out with all those instruments.

Layover was decent, i havent fully listened to cats and dogs, but there was a point in that WLP where there were 7/8 straight songs of HEAT. You know how rare that is? Me and my boy were just waiting to skip a track and we couldn't.

I think flow-wise Layover represents where Ev really came into his own. Weatherman is a better album, sure. But Ev says that layover is where he started focusing on his delivery, and not just the lyrics.

I still agree with you. Weatherman is definitely a classic.

In that interview, what's the song played in the last concert clip at 8:27. I MUST KNOW it goes so hard. Not the final song just the last concert clip.
