They probably already have been. I highly doubt it will get to the extreme level it’s at now in Mejico (bodies hanging off bridges, vehicle convoys, police shootouts, etc.).

They know this and choose to go in the opposite direction. If they had their way, they'd occupy Central and South America and export all their natural resources (which we already do to some extent through policy and clandestine operations).
I live in San Diego… minutes away from the border. They’ve been finding bodies with hands cut off, etc. for years. Just stay away from the drug game and you’ll be alright.
