Black folks have always played a big role in the oppression of other black folks in this country.

That’s the glue that holds white supremacy together.

They perpetuated, defended, and promoted the bullshyt, throughout American history, that kept most of us completely blind to the fact that we’ve never gotten too far removed from our economic status as slaves.

shyt, there’s an argument to be made that the newly freed slave was better off financially than most of us are as adults in 2020.

They may not have had any real assets, but there wasn’t many black folks, if any at all, in the late 1800s, walking around with thousands of dollars of debt on their heads.

How many of us are really well into the black financially, if all debt was due today?

Im willing to bet, 90% of our folks that would still end up with assets and capital if that were to happen, got their money playing the buffer zone role to keep us fukked up.

The rest of us would be fukked.

Especially if we ever go back to a time where debtors prisons are a thing.
