My boy from Camden moved out there a few years back and is thriving. Good job, works and lives in Santa Monica area. Even joined a Black Surfers club. He always says the only downfall is the lack of black girls. But he says the becky's are like shooting fish in a barrel.

Do all the touristy shyt when you first come like go to the Hollywood sign, go to Disneyland, universal studios etc. After you done with that try your best to avoid Hollywood. Just bums, crackheads, disgusting air and traffic. When I see tourists lay down next to the Hollywood stars to take a pic 
. I have even seen some put their face on it as well . Also LA has no seasons so expect it to be cold and rainy one day and then sunny 95 degree weather the next day.
