Movie is absolute ass fukk out of here.

Terrible plot.

Terrible realism.

They had a F2 car in F1 footage.

Broke mad rules.

Unrealistic medical exams.

"We gotta prepare our car for combat" :dahell:

This movie is for casuals.

Not even people who don't watch F1, this movie is for people who watch no racing whatsoever.

Defund Liberty Media.
I don’t think there was any perception from people that this was a hardcore movie for F1 fans when the trailer came out lol.

I rate Javier Bardem but its crazy going from Anton Cigurh to this and Dune 2 where he's more like a white dude's hypeman.

I enjoyed it though, racing scenes were meant for the big screen though funnily enough this doesn't have my favourite car scene in a movie with Brad Pitt :pachaha:

Damson did his thing, if they can write something more than the typical sports movie then I'd watch a sequel where he wins a grand prix but I doubt that's on the horizon

It was good. They could have cut about 30 minutes and I would have a much higher opinion of it. The racing scenes are very cool and exciting but we've all seen sports movies like this before (none of them are this long) so the story gets extremely predictable and at a certain point I was ready for it to be over.

What do film editors do these days? Movies are long as fukk for no good reason. Is there an angle that I don't see here?
Around 2 hours +/- a few minutes is the standard for these big budget films. Pacing I feel is more of a problem than anything. There are some movies over 2 hours that don't feel long at all, like The Matrix, Infinity War for example, and there are some that are a chore to get through. Just boils down to clashes between the director and studio I imagine.
