The biggest myth in hiphop is that NY’ers are good dressers. NY is a fashion capital but that’s for high/couture fashion houses, not hiphop. Maybe if you compare them to bamas in Alabama or Mississippi 30 years ago but even they dress better than dudes from NY in 2024.
